Pottery  by  Ursula Glaser

La céramiste d'origine bâloise a séjourné pendant vingt ans à Philmont, dans l'Etat de New-York. Elle y a exercé sa profession avec son mari américain Edward Huitt, participant à plusieurs marchés d'art à Philadelphie, Manhattan et Boston. Elle fabrique à la main et au tour des objets en porcelaine aux lignes épurées (vaisselle, bols, vases Ikebana de style japonais cuits à très haute température). En 2004 ,nostalgie du pays natal ou attirance des paysages d'Ajoie. Ursula Glaser s'installe à Fahy (Jura).

Ursula Glaser is originally from Basel, Switzerland, but lived for over 20 years in the United States in Philmont, New York. With her American husband Edward Huitt, they both worked together creating Artisanco Pottery and participated in craft fairs and trade shows in Philadelphia, Manhattan, Boston, and New England. Making objects on the wheel in white porcelain, she has produced a diverse collection of pieces of contemporary pottery. In 2004 she and her husband moved to Fahy, Switzerland, in the Ajoie region of Canton Jura.
